Mornington Peninsula Elopements Giveaway

1. Promoter

This competition is run by Mornington Peninsula Elopements, in collaboration with Salt & Soul Weddings and Married By Maddi (collectively referred to as “the Promoter”).

2. Entry Period

The competition opens 13 April 2026 and closes Sunday 19 April 2026 at 9:00pm AEST (Melbourne time).
Entries received after this time will not be considered.

3. Eligibility

  • Entry is open worldwide.

  • Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.

  • The nominated couple must be legally able to marry in Australia and able to complete all required legal documentation within required timeframes.

  • Valid photo identification must be provided.

4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  1. Follow all three accounts:

    • Mornington Peninsula Elopements

    • Married By Maddi

    • Salt & Soul Weddings

  2. Like the competition post

  3. Comment on the post nominating a couple and sharing why they deserve to win

  4. Share the competition post

Important conditions:

  • Both the nominator and nominated couple must be following all three accounts for the entry to be valid

  • Each nomination counts as one (1) entry

  • Multiple nominations are permitted

  • Entries can be made on both Instagram and Facebook

  • Nominations from different accounts/platforms will be counted as separate entries

5. Prize Details

The prize includes an All-Inclusive Elopement Package valued at $3000, including:

  • Legal ceremony and all required paperwork

  • Up to 2 hours photography and videography coverage

  • Access to a private property in Merricks, Victoria

  • Ceremony time of 1:00pm

  • Property access from 12:30pm–2:30pm

  • Up to 6 guests

6. Fixed Date & Location

The elopement will take place on:
📅 Friday 29 May 2026
📍 Merricks, Victoria

This date and location are fixed and cannot be changed under any circumstances.

7. Prize Conditions

  • The prize may be transferred to another couple, however:

    • The date and location cannot be changed

  • The prize is not redeemable for cash

  • Travel and accommodation are not included

  • The winning couple may choose to upgrade the package at their own cost

8. Winner Selection & Notification

  • The winner will be selected via a random draw conducted after the competition closes

  • The winner will be contacted privately via direct message (Messenger/Instagram)

  • The winner must respond within 48 hours of being contacted

If the winner:

  • Does not respond within 48 hours, or

  • Does not meet eligibility requirements

👉 A new winner will be drawn.

9. Public Announcement

The winner will not be publicly announced unless explicit consent is provided by the winning couple.

10. Cancellation & Changes

  • If the winning couple cancels or is unable to attend, the prize will be forfeited

  • If the Promoter is required to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to weather, illness, or vendor unavailability), a suitable alternative arrangement or date will be offered at the Promoter’s discretion

11. Content & Media

By accepting the prize, the winning couple agrees to:

  • Be photographed and filmed on the day

  • Grant the Promoter permission to use images and video for marketing, promotional and social media purposes

12. Exclusions

Employees, collaborators, and immediate family members of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.

13. Platform Disclaimer

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.

14. General

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these Terms & Conditions

  • The Promoter reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition if required due to unforeseen circumstances
